Her World Poem by Laurie hill

Her World

Rating: 5.0

Moon on the river,
shadows in the trees,
whispers from the rushes,
echo on the breeze,
A figure 'neath the gaslamp,
inviting in it's glow,
halfway across the old stone bridge,
halfway between this world and hers,
no further can i go.

beautiful imagery...rivers separate people, bridges connect, but I guess you cannot cross over unless she meets you half-way...
