Here I Am Again for Chelle

a warning to the others
twisted into shapes
understood by none
the trees keep my secret
rhythmic, my thoughts collide
forcing out words i dare not say
hurried breaths, pulsating
no protector, leader or provider
this confusion leaves no peace
twisted limbs, comforting embrace
familiar
i look to heaven
my eyes stall at sunset
prostrate i lay
my heart cries
beautifully it flows
regret is all i find
