Here To Stay
Like a flower in the meadow longs for sweet sunshower
A bird of the sky for the open blue
An ebony eve beckoning to become starry glitter
The love in my heart longs for you
To comfort and envelop me in caring
So I don't feel so alone in sorrow
I wish for you to know
You bring hope to each tomorrow
Dawn arrives and with it light
An open invite to love you again
To share with you plans and dreams
My love and my forever friend
