Hiccups In My Heart Poem by JoAnn McGrath

Hiccups In My Heart

Rating: 3.5

I have hiccups in my heart
So say the doctors that are smart
A different syncopation
Not disrupting circulation
Just an annoying extra beat
that may wake me in my sleep.
Or stops me in my tracks
As I wait for it to pass
Not to be concerned
for the information learned
I'll just never be apart
from the hiccups in my heart
I'll always have it with me
an extra beating beat for thee

JoJo, don't hiccup out on us just yet. Another piece with a nice laid back slice of humour. Just what the Doctor ordered. Top Marks from me. Thanks for sharing it my friend. David
