Do you still write love notes
And hide them away
To discover them
Some unsuspecting day?

The faint smile
That flits on your lips;
Imperceptible nod of the head
As you softly remark,
Who marked,
This note with a kiss?

I have stowed away
Many a passionate dream
Of yours read
Wondering, how you lived
With it all
Coming to naught?

Things that I
Don't understand much
Are things that I
Know the most about.
