Hide-And-Seek Poem by Tanja Bulovic

Hide-And-Seek

Rating: 4.5

I know your hiding places
Your tricks, covers, the faces
You put on when I seek you

Once you even changed your name
You were tired of this game
That took longer every time

I pretend that there's no sound
That you don't want to be found
And I start counting

I liked 'Hide & Seek' very much - though I did find the first line of the second stanza rather difficult: I know we don't expect to understand everything in a poem but there's a total mystery over the 'change of name' reference.
