High As The New York Banner (With Those Two Gals That Have My Back.. Liberty And Justice) Poem by Brian Mattern

High As The New York Banner (With Those Two Gals That Have My Back.. Liberty And Justice)

Fire's been all that has passed,
so nothing can break me now.
Though only by chance I still last,
so the steel I've become won't lash out.

Yet the path I lead is narrow,
give space for to veer and to play.
So cross not my blade for your pharaoh,
or you'll find that you have not have my praise.

All in the realm is from heaven,
each value misweighed on the screens.
If justice is blind I'm beside her,
'cause damn well Earth's wasting away.
