Awakened by encouragement
Surrounded by possibilities
Faith as brunch
Hope as lunch
Loyalty he learnt
Royalty he dreamt

Tormented dubiously by failure,
Slapped viciously by distractions
Staggered on the path of success
To recoil he thought,
To win he fought.

Persistent he was
Commitment he embraced,
Animosity he forsook
Pride he ostracised
Succeeded he did,
To them he couldn't
But to him he could
And indeed, he did.


With love it's done
By hope it's achieved
Dilated he became
Beyond self conjectures.
