His Return Poem by Shameca Biggs

His Return

Rating: 5.0

He came back to me.
Back to the place where we fell apart.
Back to this aching bleeding heart.

He came back to me.
With no plans to leave.
With no intentions to thieve.
With no hatred to believe.

He came back to me.
As if he never left.
As if he we'd not been bereft.

Here he is. There he is.
There he goes again.
Round and round.
Up and Down.
Over and over; times ten.

But he came back.
He came back for me.
