Hold a seashell to your ear...
Rest upon it's tranquil tide,
breathe it's calming breezes here,
bring it's subtle strength inside.
If you yearn for former times,
hold a seashell to your ear,
you'll return to warmer climes
and the ease of yesteryear.
When you sense a tempest near,
if you would decrease the din,
hold a seashell to your ear,
find a bit of peace therein.
Even now, as squalls move in,
you'll recall when skies were clear
if you, as rain falls again,
hold a seashell to your ear...
