Holding On Poem by Mariah Simpson

Holding On

Holding it inside is the worst thing.
Slowly tears roll down the face,
And the heart starts to hurt.
Can't take no more,
So just let it all out.

Trying to figure out,
Where to go from here.
Wishing to talk,
Not knowing what to say.

no need to say more... take comfort in my arms, a friend holding you, wiping away the tears, and telling you it will all be ok...for you're not alone. Holding On is a very emotional read. I felt what you felt, true empathy is a special gift and through your words Mariah, you brought me to the threshold of your heart. Loved this piece, (brought me to tears, and as a writer, this is the highest complement.) -Kelly.
