Hole In My Shoe Poem by Rokket Grrl

Hole In My Shoe

I thought that I knew you but I guess I don't
But it's easier to be mean to strangers so I guess be nice: I won't
You're so shallow, like a puddle left by a spring rain
That sits so long on the sidewalk that it leaves a dark stain
I relied so long on you and your petty ways
That now I'll find myself lost for the rest of my days
So now I'm just wandering until I find the real you
And I'll keep on going till there's a hole in my shoe
