Homa Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Homa

Homa

When one is part aware just a hint, or point
Seems enough
For current to flow, wave to raise, rain cloud

And Homa
Though unnamed, just woman, a friend of the
Past…

Was mentioned.

“I know her from past, a colleague who is now
…” he told me when he came for visit.
That shed light, clear, and bright…’relations’.

“A single, successful…and so on, ” he told me
Of that girl.

He had lied.

I met her with husband, who is man’s good friend;
Recent days.

In silence I smiled:
“Two couples in zigzag; two know and, two do not…”

He had lied
That said girl, in real, is the wife; his friend’s.
Though true is the rest, a colleague of the past.

Those aware of secret are he and…friend’s wife
The cheated are friend…and own wife.

This is what I am told; is it end?

I feel sad and laugh at
The man who, went distance, to search, find
Innocent and gentle, literate and, good wife…
