Homeless Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Homeless

Homeless

Saying is easier
-than seeing or being
-a deprived and homeless!

Don't become a cruel
- (try, soon retreat)
-pouring little water
-in a hole, the ants' nest;
-or blow some smoke
-into nest of the bees!

They run and or fly.
They sting and or bite.
They see all as their foes.

Doing so is natural
-even of unable
-and wounded, cripple,
-remained in, abandoned!

Have the guts and replace
-yourself with the homeless
-in Yemen, Syria, Palestine
-and the ones in the boats
-or walking marathon!

Then search for the cruel
-and find it in light eyes;
-the green and blue
-with the hair of a goat
-in amber shades, brown.

Such are not only ones
-their pets are cats and dogs
-wilder than wolf and fox!
-All of them love blood
-as do the mosquitoes
-and leeches…
-Among them some croak
-as do the big frogs!

Latter ones lead the faiths
-they preach in the church
-synagogue and the mosque.
