Honey Pots Poem by LINET SABASTIAN

Honey Pots

The pots were many
They were not just pots
They were honey pots
They were filled with honey
They were in different sizes
They displayed in different shapes
He was confused
He did not know which pot to taste from
He did not know which shape to go for
It is not how sweet the honey tasted that he was interested in
He just wanted to taste from each of the pots
With time all the honey pots were sealed and he missed the honey
He was left with spills to lick
And one pot broke on him as he tried to lick the honey
He was soaked in honey and flies all over him
He was the joke of the moment
Will he learn to taste from one honey pot?
