Hope for the Best …..
Life itself is an arduous test, my child.
Still, you are making top;
Facing the hardest, I see, ever smiled,
And yet you never flop.
The best daughter ever, you've been,
So best a sister;
Now to in-law's, being a daughter so kin
As a mate you glister.
Then why to worry about, my dear!
It is a trivial test;
When 'Kanha' with you, nothing to fear
keep doing your best.
The highway to success, O dear child,
is never so easy;
And always passing through the defiled
failures so greasy.
If failure you meet on the way my dear,
you never mind.
God must have planned better! Appear
to me all designed.
So be positive and never lose courage."
Your poor dad says,
"Lost is not the last, so don't disparage,
And hope for the best always."

A lovely poem feelingly addressed to the daughter, and so well writ by a father. Father's feelings for a daughter and her for the father seem to me unique and I feel it as a father who no more has a daughter now.
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
Your love for your daughter is eternal...sometimes children don't realize that their problems give more pain to their parents and parents are the ones who accept all our failures...
