Hope For Tomorrow - Poem by BRENDA KANSHABE TUMUSHABE

Depressed and desperate
The best description
Like concrete compressed
To know you lived

Like gold in the mine
Thy plans and dreams seemed
Self awareness, the medicine
Awoke thy sleepy thoughts

All departed and no one to lean on
God's hand so gentle
Upheldthy hungering spirit
To awaken a dream

Poet's Notes about The Poem

I was feeling unwanted. When i read a bible.I discovered God's hand in all that was happening. I was inspired and feared not.
