Hoping For The Snow Poem by Hunter Jade East

Hoping For The Snow

Rating: 5.0

My life slowly slips away
But I'm standing on my own
I tried so hard to push away
All the love I've ever know
And I know that I'm
Not good enough right now
But know this
My heart was never whole

Hoping the snow will fall
Cause it's so cold, too cold
And you seemed to take it all
I was so cold, too cold
And I know that I
Had a million excuses
And I know that I
Didn't have to do this
I, I hope that you'll be fine
But I, I only survive

Here comes yet another day
Still standing all alone
You took my breath away
But still I was far gone
I died so much inside
Long before we met
I always try to hide
So maybe one day I'll forget
Just know this
I always think of you

Hoping the snow will fall
Cause it's so cold, too cold
And you seemed to take it all
I was so cold, too cold
And I know that I
Had a million excuses
And I know that I
Didn't have to do this
I, I hope that you'll be fine
But I, I only survive
