Horse power

A child asked her mother:
- "What is dad, horse power? "
-Older felt unable to answer
-while sensed that was aware.

In her mind silhouette of knowledge,
-could recall a man who
-was at home on weekends.
-She sat on his lap and listened to stories
-whenever they were home, not at work.
-He ate at same table in kitchen
-shared the bed with mother…

How could she rephrase, explain?
- "Such a man is father! "

And of horse…
-on wall of living-room,
-she had seen some pictures.

Dumbfounded was this Mom
-who had paid for sperm and
-purchased it from bank…
-inserted, pregnant and the rest…

"Horse power" kid had heard
- "is unit for power, in engines…"
-that was why she questioned.

What a world!
What a world!
What a world!

Speedy has changed world
-for the ‘Baby-Boomers'
-who have seen animals
-at home and in the wild…
-and grew with fathers
-who had keys and respect,
-in house, too, played roles!

Came around the end of century,
- (Died Nineteenth, started Twenty)
-murdered was Empire, Ottoman's
-and with it, new lines were drawn;
-governments were assigned…
-All of them by Lawrence of Hijaz!

Sweden, a long gone
-Spain was to join, with Portugal
-Italy, Netherlands, were to be like Greece
-Assyrians, Persians and Egypt
-as had been the Romans and Vikings.
-The winners France and Britain to Russia.

Each of these were made, built
-on resource of the horse and layman.
-So, had been and seems same…
-Look at the Qatar and Saudi, Emirates…

"Deported Saudi…"
-the Pak and Indian labourers
- (who built roads and highway…!)

Smells wind of changes
-labourers start first
-as machines and horses
-steamboats with rowers and slaves.

This tells us that the rest will be out
-like horses and slaves and rowers
-of the past, centuries and over…
-with ancient history…

Longer life is always for
-the thieves and the looters
-and leeches; in love with bloodshed!

Look at Nile's Pyramids,
-Mesopotamian cooked-writings
-and be sure: "Today too will vanish! "

Till alive, they tell us:
- "Mankind is short-living! "
