House With A Sweet Little Kitchen Poem by Joyce Hemsley

House With A Sweet Little Kitchen

Young ones share the problems of life
For now they are husband and wife.
Gone have the days that cut like a knife
Satisfaction in prayer, no trouble or strife.
Married in Maytime and bells still chime.

Living in a cottage, south coast of Britain
He works on the garden...his own decision
She works in the house in a sweet little kitchen
Happy and cheerful all the day through
A new life for two, and skies are still blue.
