How Could You Leave Me Stuck? Poem by Jennifer Gordon

How Could You Leave Me Stuck?

</>when you left you ripped the love out of my heart
and I drowned in the misery that was left of me.
I'm not over here
over there
or anywhere
I am lost in this forever ever land.
locked in the prison
no escape but time
and no life but day and night
always going.
leaving me behind
I am at a stand still
stuck
hiding in this blockade
I am finished
with no where else to go but back to the feelings of utter pain.
I have and have not been awoken.
I am stuck in this shattering box you and I used to call home.
where we met
Eye to eye
cheek to cheek
chest to Chest.
heart to bitter heart.
and you left me there.
Alone with nothing but the memories you have burned to each place of my cornea
I am left behind
stuck in this misery we used to call the meeting place.
