How Did You Love Poem by Adams King

How Did You Love

It's doesn't matter how soon the music ends
Nor how quick the sun rises to set
But of what impact does it brings
How so well it bites nor stings

I have had short music move my feet
Yet longer song I did stood still
I have had two line poems cut so deep
Yet sonnets that bored me to sleep

It's doesn't how long the first kiss last
Nor how brief was the last dance
But how well our lips did lock
How our feet mesmerizes the dancefloor

Many are lovers that stayed so long
Yet a day visitor surpasses them all
Many are brothers who fell apart
Yet strangers who connected hearts

It's doesn't matter how pure is the gold
Nor how good the diamond glows
But how genuine was it being earned
What motive has it pushed us to learn

It doesn't matter how love did last
Nor how long it took before breaking hearts
But how well have you loved my friend
Did you give it your all or fight till the end
