Human Poem by David Blake

Human

Valleys wide and oceans
deep these are the places
I go when I pretend to
sleep. Memories, fame,
glory and pain are among
the things I have suffered in
vain. Denying truth, filled
with rage I search the
darkest depths of night for an
end to my suffering and shame.
