Hush Now Child - Poem by Kelsey Martinson

Trust in me
I'll keep you safe
I'll help you dream
Hush now child
Dry your eyes
Don't let the nightmares
Make you cry
Hush now child
Don't fear the night
Because in an hour or so
The sun shall rise
Hush now child
I'm here holding you close
An I promise
That I won't let you go
Hush now child
And drift back to sleep
I'll stroke your hair
While you count sheep
Hush now child
I'll sing to you
If you want me to
And don't forget baby
That I love you
So hush now child
