it is your birthday
and i am spending for it.
it is your wedding
anniversary and here i am
still spending for it.

it is my birthday and i am
spending for it, same thing
with my wedding anniversary.

you are always my guest.
and i am always the patron.
whatever the occasion may be.

i am not that rich but you
think i am.
it is unfair but i do not
protest.

God owns all my money.
And if i spend for you
I may ask if He's happy.

If i lose, I pray
and ask, God will you
pay me?

For He owns all these.
For He gives when He
likes it.

I am just a conduit.
A tube, a passage.
I own nothing, but i spend
everything.

It is unfair, but who am i
to say it?
I am not the owner of the
sky and the sun.
I am but a space between.
I am but a canal from land
to ocean.
