As I walk the streets tonight,
With no one there by my side,
I have fears, full of doubt,
Choked with tears I cry out.

I need a hand to hold on to,
To help me, guide me walk on through,
This battle and turmoil I must face,
I fight all night and strive all days,
And I walk alone.

And I clear my way tonight,
But I need a ray of light,
I can't see I've gone blind,
Can it be I'm out of line?

You are the God to hold on to,
That helps me, guide me walk on through.
Who fights my battles and all I face,
You're there all night, with me all days,
And I am not alone!
