I Am Who I Am Poem by Michael P. Johnson

I Am Who I Am

I AM WHO I AM, that's all I'll say
All now, I'm telling you
I am The Truth, The Life, The Way
Salvation to pursue

If you see how sinful you've been
How shamefully you live
If you repent your shame I've seen
My Word will you forgive

I'm perfect omnipotent true
Omnipresent to find
There is nothing I'll fail or do
To prove my love for mankind

Though six thousand years reveal now
My written Word's made known
To righteousness still few will bow
With hearts as hard as stone

So few will listen, few give in
Scandalous shame admit
Many thinking life's crown to win
Can end down in the pit

I'm righteous and never will lie
Life's truths each needs to learn
No soul truly will always die
But fools always will burn

Be no fool be upright at heart
Let wisdom eyes make wide
Pray earnest for a brand new start
Pray Jesus change you, inside

Be proud no more, but self deny
Help others where you can
Live! The Truth, never be shy
Rise as a righteous man.....
