I am your friend
I am your companion
I've walked with you through many relationships
I am the reason your last relationship failed
I am here to taint every positive moment in your life
I am the reason you did not get your dream job
After every rejection or misguided step, I am the one you return to
My only goal is to stay with you no matter what it takes
I hate anything that could come between us
When you're suffering I am happy
I will destroy everything good in your life and I don't care
because there are so many more just like you
I am your deep-seated insecurity you carry around every day.
