I Began Me Poem by Michael Walkerjohn

I Began Me

Seen above all skies
my many minds, and mine I
Inside hued, as my hearts bleed
the thundering's of tomorrows…
Deep and beside me you sleep
bundled like a broken past
infused with pain so vast
over time taken over
by feelings from so
long ago; before
there were words
to show the depths
beneath the seas… and
the pains from those years
through these; I see…
Dullness and gloomy
feelings, I see how
my emotions; flowed
back to my breaking spirit
sweeping over that cut holding
my sobbing burning me… feeling
that cold within my mind; holding
my beating heart, cutting out all
emotion and placing that upon
the moons of forever…
Drawn out in this one
moment's crush, of pain; so
vast, so complete; so misunderstood
I weep. For what I once was, wondrous
wandering, absolute, nothing but star dust
and in dreams I so sink; amidst the storms
bringing the future's blood that bleeds out
upon the moon that sees… and that moon
picks up my faith, my fate, my face, my
place; and in a sky, bleeding out all
trace of life, and time; and space
I began me…
