I Can Not Repent Poem by piumi wijenayake

I Can Not Repent

Do you realize who you are?
Don’t you realize our trust that we had is doom
Why couldn’t you be the same person that I adored?
But it’s too late to confess
Too late to give forgiveness

Do you remember the time we spent?
We almost depended on each other
We almost looked at each other
But, today we pass like strangers
We almost looked like enemies

What happened to the friendship that we built?
We said it would last forever
But today it seems like never
Taught we cannot survive
But today we are still alive

Did you realize the last day we held our hands?
We almost did everything together
But at present you are flying with another friend like a feather
Never taught you were the one to leave me
And make me feel desperate

Never taught you would hurt me
Now, I realize our friendship is dome
So, it’s too late to repent
It’s too late to say sorry
SO I CAN’T FORGIVE

that's the shape of love that you missed.... that's the fiords of torn frindship you were dream....... that was the warm of soul you never touch..... that's the root both should walk......
