I couldn't take the risk,

If I wanted

I would have played along,

To the game I ain't new.

I couldn't accept

though I can neither outright

Something so special reject

Every part of my being

Wants to really give in

Reciprocate this special feeling

But life isn't a film

Where everything just fits in

It's too complicated a script

If there ever was one indeed!



Numerous hearts i've broken

With quite a number

I have played.

But with you

I wouldn't want to repeat the same

I would want to see it to the end!

But with life as it is

Is there really a chance

For this to materialize?

Do you now see why am so hesitant?
