I'D Have Told You Poem by Raheem Lyttle Kiyaga

I'D Have Told You

Tears rolls down my cheeks
Whenever I re-read this piece
Writen with hot inks on my heart,
'Cuzin' hurt and aches inside my heart,
My heart bleeding since the first read,
Tryin' to relieve and regret
Why I didn't told you before,
How much I love and loved you.

For the days we spent out there,
The mutual friend's party we went to,
Together, the joy we shared,
The laugh and sad stories we shared,
Our past love stories the next days,
How we came to each other
How we met at mutual friend's birthday,
All the good deeds for you and me,
I thought you knew it, how much I loved you,
It hurts I never had your lips
Meeting across mine as well as yours.

It's me is to blame for this
The timing was all wrong
For a few years we waited my love
And with our lives we carried on...

Hoping that some day again
We would be together
To see if this thing called love
Could make us connect forever...

Yes I believe we are more than soul mates
Connected deep within our heart,
But I think of being together,
We will be in the same room renovated.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Never let it go by you before you say it and you regret the chance burnt down.
' I'd have to told you how much I love and loved, but I thought you'd and my deeds manifested it,
It couldn't have been such long to judge myself that the blame is on me '.
