I Dare Poem by H.M. Gautsch

I Dare

I dare to be different.
I dare to be the black sheep.
I dare to go against the grain,
Of this barbaric drinking scheme.
I dare to be different.
I dare to be the black sheep.
I address my own fashion sense,
In this "Barbie World" I vision to see.
I dare to be different.
I dare to be the black sheep.
I dare to be the only woman,
In my family to enlist in the military.
I dare to be different.
I dare to be the black sheep.
I dare you to look past my differences,
And just love the heart I keep on my sleeve.
