I Don't Show
Days come and go
Who I am they'll never know
They never see my other sides
Never see the part that hides
Poet, knight, caring friend
All of me in a seamless blend
I don't show cause they don't ask
In what they know they seem to bask
If only I could share what's on my mind
They don't understand what they'd find
Hiding myself grows old
But I don't tell if I'm not told
Just wish they'd ask to me shown
But until then my thoughts are my own
