I Dream Poem by Raven Rasputin

I Dream

Rating: 4.8

Again today
As everyday
I dream
Of a goal in reach
Of a love at peace
I dream
I invent
I make a world of color
I build a machine
To knock down walls
I fill in the blanks, and never with despair
At least never without a cause
I wonder
If I belong, if I have ever belonged
Everyday, I yearn
For that adventure
For those eyes
For all the words that I need
I dream
Dreamers would understand

I really love this; easy to say but I don't say it lightly. These lines resonate: 'I fill in the blanks, and never with despair/At least never without a cause' - and more. Esther : ]

I dream I've knocked down the walls and now Winter is coming. Wait, that sounds like my house rehab nightmare. p.s. nice closing line! -chuck
