I Feel Poem by Georgina Ashton

I felt nothing.
Nothing in my heart or my head.

Until you showed me how much you actually
loved me; that was when I felt something.
I began to realise I was falling; falling head
over heels for you.

You showed me what it meant.
What it meant to love someone,
someone with such passion in their eyes,
someone like you; you loved me like no other
creature, human, man had ever done before.

The nothing I felt grew, it grew
into something beautiful that everyone
has. Everyone has their own unique love.

You showed me what it meant to love.
You showed what love was like.
And in the end I felt something.

And that something was me, loving you.
