I Feel Like Billy The Kid Poem by Richard Jarboe

I Feel Like Billy The Kid

I feel like Billy the Kid,
I broke the law, but not clear what I did,
So now I'm hiding in a hole,
Hey, there's so many laws, I can't remember them all.

And there's a bunch of lawmen on my trail,
They're going to have to shoot me; I ain't going to jail,
Tell my Mama, I won't be coming home,
Tell her I'll be laying low alone.
