I have been emotional
Long before we met
Yes, I am emotional and weak
Like a bird with broken wings
But you always insist
That I can be strong
And use my mind over my emotions
You're hoping
For a better change in me

And now I must thank you
For bringing something I must learn
Like a child who's beginning to say his ABC's
You taught me patiently
And as I learn how to walk
You lend your hand to me and
lead me along the way
Until I am able all by myself

You know I feel so blessed
Because you came into my life
At the time
When I almost lost the reason to live
You helped me most to grow
Pulled me out from a barren land

I might not remember all what you said
But I will always remember the way you made me feel
I wish more people realized How simple it is to make someone feel loved

And I must thank you
For showing me the love every day
In all those small moments and opportunities
Making me fall further in love
And be better in many ways

And so before I end this piece
Let me say these few more lines
You will always be my greatest hero
And as what people say
If you love someone
Show them by the way you live your life every single day
And so here I am
Every thought
and everything I do
I do with love
And I do it for you
