I Give-Up. Poem by Adnan Khalifeh

I Give-Up.

Rating: 5.0

I’ve done my best to hide my grieve.
I showed you once I am strong enough.
I‘ve said alone I can survive.
I squeezed my heart to let you out.
I spoiled my brain to keep you out.
I am drunk I am bad. I ‘m deeply sad.
I give-up. I give-up. I give-up.

The streets are dark. The moon is Shy.
I am out again but I don’t know why.
Maybe this time my dreams come true.
I hope my steps will lead me to
The place where I can be with you.
No matter what, no matter how,
Come back, come back, come back.

The streets are dark. The moon is Shy.
I am out again but I don’t know why.
Maybe this time my dreams come true
I hope my steps will lead me to
The place where I can be with you
No matter what. No matter how.
Come back, come back, come back.

I am sorry.
