i only wish that
you understand it
that you find
at most a little pinch
of such wisdom
but i guess you never
arrive at it
and so i am content with
what i am now

our maps are totally
different
for i am here now
and you are there
far away from me

here i am
overlooking a mountain
understanding
that i am destined
like the rest

happiness is nil
and null
and i have only to
accept it.

there you are
unable to understand
this wisdom

i have no regrets
i have aged, mellowed
and wise
in the silence of the
nooks....
