I Have An Opinion Poem by sam puskar

We known each other for many years, as well as you may know
still can't understand why only things you say are so
I used to have an opinion and it felt good to express my thought
but you changed that so every decision from you must be sought
Life isn't fair with you since it's always your way
I never seem to have anything to say
Can't we somehow talk and express how we feel
that way i will think i am part of the deal
One person may be stronger and even smarter
but they shouldn't control others thoughts and force them to barter
I am dedicated to make this relationship work for you and me
only if i can get you, my thoughts to see
Share with me all that you have or will get
and for the rest of our lives we will be set
Our thoughts should be as one yours and mine
and we will live in peace and love for the rest of our time
