I Have Been Called Francis Or Francy Or Frank Poem by Francis Duggan

I Have Been Called Francis Or Francy Or Frank

I have been called Francis or Francy or Frank
And though i have never been high in the social rank
I live in my own way and do my own thing
And i never wish of others my praises for to sing
Though rhyming does always come easy to me
A rhymer at best is the best i can be
I am not a poet since poets are of the few
On this i am not saying anything that is new
Far north of this place the journey in life for me began
Where i lived as a boy and grew into a man
In life we win and we lose by the choices we make
And we all have our journeys for to undertake
I am just one of those with words who likes to play
And i add to my numbers of rhymes every day.
