I Just Don'T Love You Like I Did Before Poem by Daya Nandan

I Just Don'T Love You Like I Did Before

Don't tell me you love me,
Don’t tell me we are meant to be,
Don’t lie to my face as you walk out the door,
'Because i have seen and heard it all before,

Don't whisper gently that you can't forget my name,
Just turn away from me, don't play that game,
Baby I don't want this abuse to anymore,
Words and actions, that make my heart sore,

Let it all fade away, love is truly gone,
You have destroyed the relationship we have drawn,
Everything fades away, nothing ever stays the same,
The love that once burned now turns to shame,

Don’t tell me you're sorry you hurt me,
How many times can I give in it will never be,
You have broken me down and walked out the door
Baby I just don't love you like i did before
