I Just Pray That You'Re Alright

Rating: 5.0

I just pray that you're alright.
In a world full of fears, weaknesses...
Anxiety and uncertainty...I'll wonder in my days,
If you're pondering yet another crossroad...are you lonely?

In a reality where you must hide a man's vulnerability,
And face the everyday 'Judge and Jury' of your actions,
I'll never know if you've reached your darkest moment,
Or if you've shed tears of happiness...if someone made you smile...

And while you're asleep in your corner of the midnight hour,
In my reverie, before slumber befalls me, I'll curl up by your side,
My arms will envelope around you, so subtly...
I'll gently kiss your cheek and you'll never know that...
I just pray that you're alright.

Sometimes, all we have are our prayers.. to send comfort to others.. and console ourselves.. and sometimes.. there's nothing more powerful.
