I Know This Girl Poem by Silence Dogood

I Know This Girl

Rating: 5.0

I know this girl with died black hair.
Everyone sees her but nobody cares.
She never laughs and her smile is fake.
Nobody notices her heartbreak.

All her tears are hidden within.
The cuts and scars reminders of him.
She tries so hard to hide her pain.
Filled with misery and so much shame.

She'll look at you with tear stained eyes.
Trying to smile through all his lies.
He really hurt her but you'd never know.
The cuts on her wrist, they dont show.

Everything he told her was a lie.
Up untill he told her his last goodbye.
He packed his stuff and moved away.
And left her alone with all the pain.

After that she was just a girl.
With nothing to live for in her sad, sad world.
And everyday is a fight for her life.
Trying to survive when nothings right.

I know this girl with died black hair.
She cuts herself 'cause no one cares.
You look at her and see her tears.
And yet you believe her smile is real.
