I Know You'Re Leaving Poem by Vivian Nkem

I Know You'Re Leaving

It's funny how u're leaving me now
I can see it in your eyes
Even when you smile
You're gonna say goodbye

My heart gives some reveals
Yet hanging on a hill
Between us, a heavy burden do i sink
Is this love a tender thing?

Right now i feel it's too rough
Too rude, too boisterous
Too great an oppression
And it pricks like thorn

I miss u already
Even though u're here with me
I fear too early
But for real, i can tell your heart's not in this

Something doesn't feel right
And it's weird deep inside
But you're pretending like it's alright
It's really tearing me apart

I which i could stop you
But i'm too proud to loose
If i could choose
I'd say stay, cos i love you

How did we come to this?
It's far from my dream
What have we missed?
Why didn't we see and.mend early?

I'm waiting for you to walk awa
Or do i rather walk away?
Cos I'm anxious to have my wings again
And fly to love again
