I'll Let Go My Fear Poem by Jude Fuhnwi

I'll Let Go My Fear

Rating: 5.0

‘Tis just fate, but again it isn't
I talk no better of hate if it isn't.
Be nice to me, just be nice -
Rejecting hate is not the price.
‘Tis just right, not sacrifice.

See, my black is not lack
Because I know lack is not black.
Still, I detach self from what's safe;
That which you make to appear unsafe.

See how I let fear get in my way
Just to tame your fears of everyday.
All times, I yearn holding this tray
Of yours that keeps me at bay.
But nay,
My cry is in vain,
Albeit in dire pain.

Does my black drain?
Or you only want my freedom for gain?
You sure know who I'll be someday
If I let my fear go away.
But it's here,
Because you keep it there.

One day I'll let go my fear
Because it's just fear.
‘Tis seeking audience with me,
With a powerful reminder -
To let go of my fears!
