I look away, to a land far away,
Green with gardens, serene with seas.
I look beyond the fog of today
With a bleary sight, threatening to cease.
Where the hairs are radiant, not grey
Arms out-stretched yet it's beyond my reach.
'Tis so far, so far away,
Where the owls sing, no longer screech.
While great men peer through the books of yesterday,
I look away, to a land far away,
'Till that day the tyrant's sword refuses to slay,
'Tis so far, so far away.
