I Love Physics Poem by G. Akanji Olaniyi

I Love Physics

Rating: 5.0

I Love Physics

You cannot understand motion like Newton
Or dive into the atoms like the Thompsons
You cannot appreciate heat like Carnot
Or explore the space as Kepler

Wonder how you go merry-go-round in circles
Centripetal holds you in; centrifugal holds you out
Ever thought of how you walk on Earth so well
Gravity keeps you down; friction keeps up.

There is a balance of things in nature
Energy, momentum and atomic structure
Light is very deceitful by concealing color
When the spectrum emerges you perceive no odor

What goes up must come down, they say
A man reached the moon the other day
What generates the heat, light and radiation from the Sun
Only nature knows when it began to burn

Wonder when the universe stops expanding
May be the day we stop the searching
For me I refuse to join the critics
Ask why, I am in love with Physics
