I Love You Poem by Ruben Roldan

I Love You

I lay on a soft surface warm and comforting,
Slowly sinking with every breath.
I feel a warm touch on my face down to my chest,
The feeling sends a beaming jolt of life into my heart.
I open my eyes, I see nothing.
The warm touch disappears from my body,
I feel my life drift away slowly surely.
I fear this is the end, I feel the twig about to snap.
I hear music in my my ears, sending a bolt of life back into me
I try one more time I open my eyes.
White lights with dark figures surrounding me,
I feel the warmth wrap around my entire body.
I look to see the most beautiful person I've ever seen.
Am I dead? Are you an angel?
She smiles looks into my eyes and slowly kisses my lips,
My heart races I don't want this feeling to ever end.
She moves her lips to my ears and whispers,
I LOVE YOU.
